Jamie Carpenter, CPC, CPC-P
With more than 28 years of experience in medical billing, I bring both deep industry knowledge and a genuine passion for helping healthcare providers succeed.
My journey in healthcare began early, volunteering in a U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeon’s office as a teenager, where I assisted with front office operations and patient procedures. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to patient care and healthcare administration.
Before transitioning fully into billing and coding, I earned credentials as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), giving me valuable firsthand insight into the clinical side of healthcare.
In 1999, I returned to the administrative side of medicine and discovered my passion for medical billing and coding. While I currently specialize in mental health billing, my experience spans a wide range of specialties, including home care, surgery, oncology, urology, gynecology, urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, PT/OT/ST, and durable medical equipment (DME).
I am both a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Coder- Payer (CPC-P), and I stay current with the ever-changing healthcare landscape, including insurance regulations, compliance standards, Meaningful Use requirements, and ICD-10 updates.
I truly love what I do and take pride in supporting providers with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
